At weSKI, there are 8 toilets available: 2 at SkyLounge (one for women and one for men) and 6 at the bottom of the Vâlsanu chairlift (3 for women and 3 for men). All our toilets are free to use for everyone, whether they have purchased ski passes from us or not.
Unfortunately, the toilets in the plateau parking lot, managed by the Borlova ski lift owner, are paid facilities, and from what we’ve seen, they aren’t very popular with tourists.
Recently, this has led to a large number of visitors — people coming with sleds or on foot — queuing to use our free and cleaner toilets. Unfortunately, due to carelessness or a lack of respect, we’ve found entire rolls of toilet paper thrown into the toilets, which clogged the system. As a result, we couldn’t open the toilets yesterday.
To make things worse, on the same day, after a freezing night on Saturday and windows accidentally left open, the water froze in the toilets at the base of the Vâlsanu chairlift.
The toilets at SkyLounge are now fully functional, but please avoid throwing toilet paper or other waste into the toilets. The issue with the toilets at the Vâlsanu chairlift base will be resolved later today.
