Starting this season, Muntele Mic benefits from a significant number of new and free parking spaces. The County Council arranged these parking areas within the budget available from last year, while we (Nordica Turism) funded their marking to facilitate access to the slopes for skiers and snowboarders. The parking areas were set up near the sheepfold because that was the only accessible location; for now, this is a temporary solution.
For those who wish to park here and avoid the congestion in the heart of the resort, we have prepared a shuttle bus that will run from parking lots P1 or P2, located near the sheepfold, to the Vâlsanu chairlift curve. The shuttle will operate only on weekends (Saturday and Sunday), starting at 9:00 AM and running until 2:00 PM.
The transportation is free, and access to the bus is based on an online-purchased skipass voucher or for individuals equipped with ski gear. Return transportation for skiers to the parking area will be provided via a specially prepared ski route leading directly to the parking lots. The route will be groomed with a snowcat, and the only inconvenience will be crossing the road, where we kindly ask you to exercise caution.
